Be The Wall!! A great idea for parents.
Ron Taffel says that when kids push against us, they aren't asking us to get out of the way -- they're trying to find out if we are there. They want to know that we are in the way between them and the things that are scary and dangerous.
This website from a Florida substance abuse prevention group is great. It has so much in place to help us figure out what our kids need. There's even a parent blog for people to share their ideas.
